| I would like to share some of the poetry I've written recently I would like to hear your comments if possible
Refugee
I was seven On that gloomy day We were to leave at gunpoint But I couldn’t flee without my marbles Under the fig tree Buried under a rock My secret place They smelled like soil I counted them One,two, three Mother, father and me I left with my parents And didn’t look back I felt that my heart would crack Years and years Past and died I visited places Far and wide But now as I brush my snowy hair I ask my self And wonder Remember and ponder I feel like a stranger People think that I'm a danger Oh how I wish And how I pray I was those marbles How much were they? Yes! One,two, three United with the ground Mother father and me

| Truth Turmoil
Crying at the grave of your conscience An eye that cannot see the truth is blind Drowning in the inferno of the forgotten An ear that cannot hear the roar of reality is deaf Struggling to wake you from your eternal sleep A mouth that cannot say the truth is voiceless Sowing the seeds of hope for the innocent A heart that doesn’t beat for others is lifeless Maybe you'll realize everything once this night ends When the silver moon sleeps Or perhaps when I finish counting the stars

| Cold Candles
Here I am Enclosed in the sphere of my doubts Shadows of the past haunting me Crouching on the frosty floor of reality Surrounded by cold candles Breathing in the mist The scent of death Lingers in the air I am the eternally forgotten Dressed in the gown of my mortality My frostbitten lips still trembling Chanting the songs of my mystified childhood Contemplating those who mortified my life Those who clouded the truth with their lies My savage spirit seeking the pleasure of vengeance Winds of change stinging my skin A luster of hope still sleeps in my eyes And yet sorrow is my bliss Despair is my hope Weakness is my strength This coldness is my warmth And darkness is my light

| I Searched.
I searched for you In the eyes of people In the stories of the old In the blue of the sea
I searched for you In the lure of my dreams In the truth of my lies In the bliss of my screams
I searched for you On the map of our defeat In the dictionary of their words Between the stars
I searched for you Between the cracks of my feelings In the nests of revenge Under the petals of pride
I searched for you In the gloom of my nostalgia In the sky of my sorrow In the dawn of my hope
I found you In the core of my heart Engraved with letters of passion Palestine.....a flame Whispering warmth and light

| We cannot be together, But we'll never be apart, For no matter what life brings us, You’re always in my heart.

| Forever and a Day by David C If I could have anything in the world. All the riches, on earth or up above. I would have none of it. All I could ever want or need is your love.
Your beauty surpasses that of a goddess. Your wonderful laugh is sweeter than a birds. Just call my name, and I will try to be there for you. Just say the word.
Every precious memory I have of you, I treasure. More than anything else I have or will ever have. Just think of all the times we've had together. Every smile, every laugh.
Every day I'm away. You're the one I'm thinking of, You're the one I miss. I wish I could live with you forever, because if this isn't true happiness, I don't know what is.
I don't know love is, or what it is to love. But the feeling I have for you is truly great. If this is love, than I'll always love you. Love always, Forever and a day..
For Her..

| Tell me what to do by Mike I could never explain why I love you so much, It's your eyes, your smile, your soft gentle touch.
The first time I saw you I knew it was meant to be, You'd spend your lifetime giving your love to me.
But I took your trust and broke your heart, I pushed you away, forever to be apart.
The one thing I love more than life itself, Ran away from me to be by herself.
I walk this house calling your name, It seems so empty, not nearly the same.
I can't help but cry as I look at through your things What hurts the most is to see your engagement ring
Sitting in it's case, inside this wooden box I should take the key and see if it locks
And throw it in the woods, to try to ease my pain, but it wouldn't matter, it still be the same.
All of these memories are inside my head, sometimes I'd think I'd rather be dead.
Than to live my life without my one true love, You're my shining star, my beautiful little dove.
I'd give everything to turn back time, Back to the days when you were mine.
You were happy and our love was strong, Neither of us could do no wrong.
I'm down on my knees and I'm begging you tell me what it is I need to do.
To win back your love and rebuild our trust, Cause to hold you again is an absolute must!

| Thinking of you by Rachel I have been thinking of you, And the way you make me feel. I'm getting scared now Cause these feelings feel so real, I've always felt it, But it's never been this strong I cannot fall now I've got to hold on. When my eyes are on you It's so hard to look away. When its time too leave you I so badly want to stay. I want to tell you What's running through my head But for now I'll just keep it to myself instead, Cause I want nothing to jeopardize The friendship that we created over the years, And I don't want to be left Heartbroken and in tears. I want you to know how I feel, And that I mean it, sometimes I just want to scream it, its real. These words have been bottled up inside They explain the feelings I hide And the failed times I've tried. I don't know how much longer I will keep this in, Thinking of ways, Don't know where to begin. Deeply confused, Don't know what to do, I'll just leave it be, wait and see, It will happen if it's meant to be. I have your friendship, But I really want your heart This is tearing me apart; I don't know what to do I just want to be with you, Make you happy and make you smile. Though times I cant see you for a while, Its only cause my hearts desires can't be filled. It's hard to know you're with someone else When all I want is you here with me, I want to show you what this could be; I don't want to tell you I want you to just open up your eyes and see. I want you to feel it, The feelings that I feel, I really want to show them, These feelings are so real. But I can't show you, I probably never will because I want to walk, but your standing still. These are the feelings inside of me, That are locked away Waiting to be free, Drowning my heart in misery.

| I wanted a mansion once... that is until I met you, Now the only place I want to live is inside your heart I once desired diamonds... until I met you, Now the only sparkle I need comes from within I used to crave the finest clothing... until I met you, Now I want not a single thread to separate our bodies I once coveted a fancy car... until I met you, Now I want nothing that would put miles between us I once prayed for money... until I met you, Now I want none of the things money can buy I once yearned for a sense of security... until I met you, Now my only security comes is knowing you are near I once dreamt of a prestigious job... until I met you, Now I find my success in knowing that you are happy I once asked for the world on a silver platter... until I met you, Now you are my world and I want for nothing but your touch Loving you has been my teacher; you taught me not to want Being with you has been my discovery; you are all that I need Finding you has been my salvation, I now understand grateful But perhaps of most importantly... Your love in return has been my everything | |

| LOVE YOU IN SILENCE Author : Honey Cai
You came into my life Quietly, simply, tenderly... The world stood still I could not say a word Nor a single gestured showed.
The feeling kept in my heart So I've loved you in silence Worshipped ypu from a distance And dreamt of you so often.
I want to say I Love You, But I'm afraid... Afraid that you'll just take it for granted. In silence then, I'll just love you. In silence I'll find... The fulfillment of my dreams.

| My Friend, My Love
It began as all fires do, a spark soon ignited into a blaze of warmth and colourful delight. You held my hand, became my friend, earned my trust and my future once again looked bright.
Loneliness turned to hope, emptiness filled up with dreams. Hunger was satisfied, and the darkness lit by love's moonbeams.
Tears no longer hit the ground, they fall on your loving shoulder. I feel younger, as our love grows older.
When sorrow leaves me wilted as a sun-parched rose, your comfort is a river that flows and flows. The sun's light, the morning dew, they are all the beauty that is you.
When passion ebbs, as tides do, love fills the wake, and carries us through.
Your strength is as the oak, but if it is my need you bend like the willow. My heart is filled, like a lucky sail with wind to billow.
Harsh cold winters, wet springs, blissful summer heat, and the fall of time, They'll weather my spirit, with grace and peace, your hand in mine.
Our love's sweet creations, joyous children, blessed am I thanks to God and you. What greater beauty could shed light, on the love that came from two.
Love's sweet reflection, laughing, growing, thriving, learning. Words cannot express what my heart feels, how strong my love is burning.
When God took one home, I felt my heart would never again see the sun. But you, my love, walked with me, through the sadness, and together we share the memories that keep our family one.
The lines of age will etch their mark on us and time will take the strength from our bodies. But love's brush will paint for us a picture of such beauty, That a hundred lifetimes could not remove their glory.

| How Do I Love Thee? (Sonnet 43) by Elizabeth Barrett Browning
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of being and ideal grace. I love thee to the level of every day's Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light. I love thee freely, as men strive for right. I love thee purely, as they turn from praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.

| My Angel
My sweet beautiful angel. Sent to me from above. I am so grateful to have found you, and I give you all my love.
You must have come from heaven, because you have pretty little angel eyes. When you gaze at me with them, my heart begins to fly.
Your sweet angelic voice, continuously rings in my ears. With you by my side, there is nothing I fear.
Whenever we are together, You shine with a heavenly glow. Your beautiful angel face, raises me up from feeling low.
Yes, heaven is missing an angel, because you are here with me. You're my sweet, beautiful angel, and I'll love you for eternity!

| موضوع: After Long Silence by William Butler Yeats الإثنين 30 مايو 2011, 23:20 | |
| Speech after long silence; it is right, All other lovers being estranged or dead, Unfriendly lamplight hid under its shade, The curtains drawn upon unfriendly night, That we descant and yet again descant Upon the supreme theme of Art and Song: Bodily decrepitude is wisdom; young We loved each other and were ignorant. | |
